Storyboard Final 2006 by CommissarKinyaf Storyboard Final 2006 by CommissarKinyaf
WARNING! 24.2 MB! DIAL-UP USERS ARE ADVISED TO GIVE UP AND PLAY MINSWEEPER.

Well, despite yet another great absence from devart on my part, I have once again returned with something I've been working on during all that time. This time, itsa storyboard animatic! This is my final for my storyboarding class, in which we had to board something to a piece of music of our choice. Now being completely inept of all things music, I asked a bunch of people for help to find a piece, and yet the thing I used, I wound up finding uploaded to a random sound directory in my CounterStrike: Source folder, which doesn't even play anymore I might add.

Hennyways, the song is Rock the Casbah, originally by The Clash, but here it's been redone by someone called The Solar Twins. Sounded neato, wasn't too long, and had cinematic inflections in the piece here and there that I could work with.

And once again, I've put the Nekostar race into a project, so I hope not to bore ya with it. Enjoy, for all those that can!

Holy ****.

I can't believe I missed this. I was going through your gallery and saw new stuff, and found this, and was promptly amazed and speechless.

This is definately one of the most awesome things you've done. Are you planning on continuing with this and completing a fully animated piece? Either way, I salute this fine slice of win.

I don't think I'll be makin a fully animated piece of this. that would somewhere in the neighborhood of 2500-5000 frames, not to mention the layering and the frames that arent any good that I won't even use. Besides, I dont think I'm good enough an animator yet to create all of the different dynamics in that scene that I want. But if I had the time, the ability, and the means to repair my hand after drawing all of it, then I would totally do it. Thank yus, though!

It's nice to see you didn't just put some deathmetal track with it :)

I toyed with the idea, but death metal just ain't technoy-futuristic enough. Now if I ever wanna animate some Warhammer 40k stuff, thats a different story.

Thank ya for the favs, too.

Well thank you for saying so. Replayability means someone likes the work, so I guess that means this would sell in the industry, and thats some good news!

Agent Smith's kitty cousin/Feline Terminator variant beating the crap out of round dreadnought-lookalikes, and going out with a bang. or something to that effect :b the soldiers in the beginning somehow reminded me of Imperial Guard, too, perhaps with their ability to die so well?
