Artist's Comments
This is my big project for my Image Manipulation class. We were told to find a book cover design that we didn't like, (well, you could still like it if you wanted to) and make a new cover design for the book in question using Photoshop. Unfortunately, I'm not that big of a reader, so I chose the only book I could find: the D20 Modern Weapon's Locker Rulebook Supplement. Basically its a rulebook for weapons and nothing else. Since a lot of the other books in the series have this three character stance thing going, I decided to run with that idea to make it fit a little more with the rest of the rulebooks. I drew up three differenct up-gunned characters and gave them a color job, and placed them into this design. For the design itself I stuck with that D20 Modern rulebook set up with a little twist. I tried to make it look more like an ammo box, and added a photo of an old shooting target I had into the center. Personally, I like it very much. I'm glad this turned out so well. Good job, as per usual! The characters are stylish and well colored. Looks like you put a lot of thought, time, and effort into this.
